Ok, I do tech support, and I know im gonna get a dumb call every now and then.  But I just spent the last half hour explaining to some old woman, that because her grandkid downloaded yahoo pager, it added the button bar.  She wants it gone because she cant see her mail button at top.  We remove it and I spend 20 more minutes try to explain to her how to move the rest of the bars...  she didnt even know right from left    crazy.gif

or use the CD tray as a cupholder ...

or FOLD those ancient 5-1/4 floppies (when they actually WERE floppy) and cram it into a drive for 3-1/2 disks ...

At least they've seen one.

I've actually had students who I told 'point to the start button.' and they did...

With their finger.

Yep, you got to watch out for those loose nuts on the keyboard.  Nothing but trouble.

Sounds like my school, the "Sysop" or "technology chair head" as they called it gave me the title.  She done the paper work I made it happen.  She even tried to talk them into giving me the 500.00 dollars extra she got for holding the title.  AHH I remember writing the grants and taking that school from Novel to NT and 2000AS on netinfinty's.  Plus, I worked with IBM while in high school setting up our IDF Switches that innterconnected the three wiring closets in our high school with fiber backbones of course.  DANG I miss highschool..

btw if anyone has heard about the High School kids beating up the "star player" at another school, well I went to the high school that done the beating.....  Millard, the rival school always had more talk than anything.... I figured it wasn't long before that happened.

edit: spelling but of course
