I'm supposed to settle on a major within the next month. They already know that I can't since I'm transferring to a different campus (same university - different campus) cuz what I want to do now is not offered by the current one.Ok first I was comp sci - that got boring in a week. Now I wanted to do math as a major and I already don't like it. Now I'm thinking of physics [it's the only other thing i'd be willingly to do] but I don't want to do the friggin labs! arg.

dammit jim [wolf] i'm a mathematician, not an engineer!yeah i really really hate engineering.
i went to my high school and talked to my old math teachers. they looked at me really puzzled when i asked "what can you do with a degree in math?" and then i went to one of them and asked "what can you do to a math major" and he said "you can slap them upside the head."
but i have seen many options.

Math majors can work at doughnut shops calculating how many you have left until you have a dozen. Two crawlers, one glazed and two spinkled ...you have seven doughnuts left!I think that's about all.
Or maybe you can use your knowledge of geometry to give yourself a slight advantage in pool and impress some cheap bar floozie, whoohoo!

i SUCK at pool. not sure why..i think it's cuz of how i hold the stick.apparently i can work for NASA w/ a math degree just crunching numbers.
