My car finally bit it! I got another week before I have to "drive" it without and NYS Inspection sticker and while that doesnt seem too bad, I will also be without insurance (which is a HUGE NO NO). My mom said she would get me another car because she knows that I need to get to school. Major problem is that she wont be able to do that until she comes back from Arizona with my sister and does the paperwork which will take about three weeks. That means for three weeks I have to beg for rides to and from law school because I live in the boonies and there is no bus in the am.
Not to mention my sister just bought another car (yeah did I tell you its her 23 birthday too?) so now she has three...
makes me wish I had lived at home and worked for a few years before coming back to school so at least this way I would have something to show for it!bleh

I'm not dissing you, but realize that someone GAVE you a car, consider yourself very lucky that you have what most people need to work very hard to get, AND that someone cares about you enough to spend a handsome sum on you. (thread hijack) what kinda car?

when I was 17 I had no idea what I wanted but my life made sense and now Im 23 and I know what I want but my life makes no sense. I guess you kind of have to take it as it comes.
Fall is almost over here (i.e. all the leaves are off the trees now ) soon the snow will be here and xmas will come and go and before ya know it another year will have passed. It just seems like I am wasting a lot of my time now. I have no one to share my time with, and my entire family lives in New York City (and they never call). The season from the middle of october until New Year's used to be my favorite time of year, now it just makes me sad. Maybe thats why my birthday this year wasnt so great, I just know that with each passing year, Im another year older and nothing to show for it.
