i cant stand cops. they inconciderate pigs. they pull u over for going 2 mph over the speed limit and then they go on their merry lives..going 20 mph over the speed limit. i mean what the hell are they thinking?! they think they can do whatever the fuck they want. someday im going to get very angry at them...and then they judge people ALL the time. ill just be sitting there and they will come over and ask me all these dumb questions. pisses me off. and i wonder how many times they have beaten people and had to come up with an excuse story to get them off the hook.------------------ Posted by j0eSmith on Oct. 24 2001,00:10
You stupid inconsiderate fuck.Remember Sept 11? Remember who lost thier lives trying to save others? Remember who ran TO the death zones? Firemen and Cops. I hope you do get angry one time, and then they can beat the living fuck out of you, you whiney white trash piece of shit. ------------------ Posted by afropik on Oct. 24 2001,00:17

And who are trying to protect you?------------------ Posted by Beldurin on Oct. 24 2001,02:57
Listen, jackass...first of all, I don't know of many cops who will pull you over for 2 mph over (unless you're in a school zone or something). Every time I've been pulled over, I deserved it. Furthermore, and I hate to break this to you, 2 mph over the limit IS STILL BREAKING THE LAW. Only setting a small fire in someone's house is still arson. My guess is that you were doing something stupid (and illegal) and got caught, and now you're bitching about it. Grow up and remember who patrols the streets while you're asleep. ------------------ Posted by damien_s_lucifer on Oct. 24 2001,03:29
this is somewhat off-topic, but can we stop using Sept. 11 as grounds for proving someone sucks?I'm not fond of cops either. I've been on the wrong end of a power-hungry, rule-crazy cop a few too many times to feel all warm and gushy inside when I see one. The fact that cops died in the WTC doesn't magically transform the police force of the entire nation. As for legality... hah! Doing 35 in a 35 zone is legal. Pulling someone over and writing them a speeding ticket when you know damn well they weren't speeding, then testifying in court that you clocked them at 60 miles an hour is illegal. I paid 赨 and did 20 hours of community service 'cause some bored cop pulled me over, and then got pissed at me because I refused to apologize to him for doing nothing wrong. I'm not against the idea of cops. But entirely too many of them enforce their whims rather than the law. Firefighters, on the other hand... now THEY are cool. Anyone is an idiot for stereotyping the whole lot of cops as good or bad. Obviously there are some cops who will be complete jerks and be on your case for any little thing, but there are also cops out there who will cut you some slack. One time my friend got pulled over for speeding but he was nice, so the cop gave him a ticket for having something in the mirror obstructing his vision instead (like a ฟ fine or something). Most conflicts with the police can be avoided if you just 1) Aren't an asshole to them if something should arise. and, more importantly, 2) DON'T BREAK THE FUCKING LAW! A few years back, I'm driving to work. My taillight is out. I noticed this a couple days before but hadn't had time to fix it (work+school). I keep my wallet on the passenger seat (don't feel like having a misaligned back). The wallet had fallen between the seat and the door. I get pulled over. I can't immediately find my wallet. The cop gives me attitude saying that "something about you isn't right". There are various other insinuations made. He has me get out and sit in the back of his car with the cuffs on. Calls back up. I'm getting pissed (not in the British sense). I end up talking to the other cop about the same questions I was already asked..."What are you doing here", Where do you work" yada yada. 1st cop has run my info and found my wallet. The info comes back clean. He hands me my wallet. He has noticed my Geneva Convention Card in it. He asks if I'm military. I'm an ROTC cadet at the time. He tells me that "normally military personel give him respect". Not wanting to prolong this, I get in my car and leave. No ticket. Now, some of what happened was normal police procedure. The attitude, the lack of professionalism was wrong. I may not have described it well in this post but it was there and it was tangible. What angers me most is his last statement. give respect? GIVE?!? You weak motherfucker. You earn that. Everyday I EARN the respect of my medics. Everyday my medics EARN my respect and that of the battalion. Fuck that cop. In all of my experiences with law enforcement, about 1/2 have been positive even if I got a ticket and about 1/2 have been negative. The majority of the good ones happening as I've grown older. I arrived at the conclusion that if you are young and below middle class, law enforcment will fuck with you. This may not be the norm, but it has been my experience and because of this, I do not cry when a cop gets a bullet in the face. Posted by Vainness on Oct. 25 2001,18:45
First time i got messed with by a cop was for skateboarding at my own college, ass told me to shut up and just give him my I.D. and for future if i wanted to continue going to school there i would put my skateboard away. Most recently, at some car races.. some jackass cop and his homosexual sidekick pulled up next to the car and handed out a shitload of tickets for parking in the 'Bike lane' oh god no! the bike lane. I got this internal anger for them, c'mon its a friday night shouldn't they be out like stopping some guy from battering his wife, dealing with an accident, or something of Importance. bah. im getting mad again.------------------ Posted by Observer on Oct. 25 2001,19:53
Heh, parking in the bike lane can sometimes bring its own punishment from extremist cyclists who carry their U-locks on their shoulder or in their hand for damaging cars, self-defense or otherwise.------------------ Posted by *GAZ* on Oct. 26 2001,19:20
like i said..alot of cops r racist..and sometimes sexists too._________________________________________ ------------------ Posted by EvilGenius on Oct. 26 2001,20:34
just because you get one asshole, doens't mean they all are... hell, i come from hick-town usa too, Good Ol' Boy system of justice.. i know exactly about getting raped by a cop just because he feels like showing off his power to some punk kid. nevertheless, i still deserved the tickets.------------------ Posted by afropik on Oct. 27 2001,20:38
So my school was known as the last place in town where you could skate and never get kicked out. Apparently, someone decided that things won't work this way anymore, and the local police have been cracking down on kids. Last night, me and a friend decided to go skating, and went to the school. We skated for a bit, I fucked my knee up, and we were on our way out. I went to sit down, and saw that there was a cop rolling around the corner. My friend and I hid, and started walking away after the cop turned the corner. He stopped, we stopped. He rolled his window down and told us that he was "just throwing something away, he didn't even see us." It was a bit of a mutual understanding that we were supposted to be leaving then, and the way he went about telling us to go was cool in my book. Moral of the story? Cops can be really fucking cool, and they can be assholes, too. You just don't realize when they're being nice. Posted by Dark Knight Bob on Oct. 29 2001,10:04
mate of mine had a few skate ramps set up in a condemed warehouse over the summer hols. the police were fine with it. it was only when stupid kids found out about it that the cops had to stop them from using it cos of the stupid kids being in danger of hurting themselves. moral of the story? blam the stupid fucking kids who shouldnt be out on the streets anywayz they should be in their rooms wanking over their mums underwear catalogue or something. or having underage sex or doing crack. at least then it keeps them out of my hair the fucking shits------------------ Posted by TheTaxMan on Oct. 29 2001,10:25
The police have to deal w/ drug addicts, murderers, and other various shit heads on a daily basis. Cut them some slack..."But he's just a traffic cop!" Whatever, just suck it up and pay the fine. They're not out to get you. ------------------ quote: Posted by just_dave on Oct. 29 2001,10:59
I lost respect for most troopers, when I had a state policeman try to fight me. Long story but here is the short side of it. I was new to the Gym, and just started working out again after a knee injury in martial arts that caused me 4 months downtime. He was trying to show off, and grabbed me in a head lock. Being the idiot I am, I just hit some nice pressure points and he let go quickly and started running his mouth about how he was a cop and could kick my arse. Granted he was black, and I dont have a problem with blacks, some of my friends are blacks, I didnt want to start anything. But he keeps running his mouth all day until I told him to get off the staionary bike so I could go ahead and shut him up. I told him i didnt care if he carried a badge or a purse.. he almost peed on himself because I stood up to him. From then on he was cool, wanted me to teach him some martial arts but I moved outta town before the time came. </rant>
