I had to run a simple report in Access tonight at work, I figured heck it will be point and click. WAS I EVER WRONG!!! Yeah.. I REALLY hate Access and VB..These 2 sucks so bad.. I'm forced to use that in my classes.. and everytime I want to throw the computer outside! Damn I miss Apple Interface Builder when I'm working on that! Posted by Beldurin on Oct. 24 2001,03:00
Amen...I had a database class last spring and I had to use MS Access. So I asked the prof, Me: "Hey, I know SQL and PHP and have access to a web server with MySQL on it. Can I just develop my project in that instead? Prof: "No, everyone needs to have equal access" Me: "I can set them all up with accounts, ftp, and shell access" Prof: "No" Me: "Why?" As much as a Microsoft whore as I am, I wholy agree that Access is a hunk of dog shit. I don't even want to get into the massive list of problems with it. SQL Server 2000 Enterprise 0wnz J00!
