so i'm bored and i think "lets go find some old mates from school" 2 hours later i still cant find fucking anyone! and i know they use it just cant fucking find them without a nickname otherwise i get 2 trillion results when searching! eat package holidays and die via joystick insertion bastard icq!

why cant hey let you limit results to geographical regions i mean thats a hell of a lot more useful than using the nickname. i mean how the hell am i gonna know their nickname if i havent spoken to them in over a year and yet knowing which country they live in doesnt help. fucking ponces the lot of them!------------------

Because you are required to have a name and a nickname, but you don't have to fill in your geographic location. That's why.------------------

Sure it does. If a majority of the people in their database aren't going to have that field filled out, then it is a waste of their reasources for them to let you search with that criteria. In all probability, your result will yield negative results. Thus wasting your time, and their reasources.

If you're going to be searching by geographic region, try doing a White Pages search instead of using the regular Find User wizard.------------------

ok so i've found the people i was after but eventhough it said authorisation was required i could still add them to my contact list and i mean all of them, i even tried it with people i didnt know. WTF is up with that!------------------
