Ok, so here's the thingI was paying for webhosting for awhile then I didn't have much money so I stopped. I just let my domain hang around for a bit, then I got my friend to rig up the works on his machine for me so he was hosting it on his lightning fast connection. So I change the DNS servers in the network solutions DNS server changing form (duh). I reply to the message they send me and they aknowledge it, but hey, six zonings later and guess what? NO CHANGE! So I've decided to call them up and have the following conversation Phone:ring NS: Hello Me: you're a wang *click* I think it might work! They'll hear my call and will have to respond to me. yep, NS sux0rs. i design websites for different companies and sometimes they need their domains to be rerouted to different servers. NS takes weeks to get the job done. Weenies!! Anyway, on my last job, I finally just called them up, had to wait on hold for over half an hour (thankfully it was a toll-free call) and talk to a "tech" for 15 minutes before they said the settings were finally changed but wouldn't be activated for 24-48 hours. This all happened after I had tried for two weeks to do this several times using their online forms. It's really hard to satisfy a customer when you can't get their new website design online for two weeks. NS deserves a swift kick in the ass!!------------------ |
