You know what I mean. Those types who compare scars when you talk about your recent surgery/injury.

My main problem is with those folks who think it's a game of 'mine is bigger' when you start talking about a bad day/ experience. Hell! I just wanted to vent not start a competition!

You: "Hi, I broke my leg. My cat died in the fire when my car blew up and I've developed a malignant tumor."
Them: "Oooh, y'know I once got a paper cut and I had to put a bandaid on it to protect the boo-boo."

Time to start handing out the slaps methinks.

People with big scars are ugly...and they smell bad.

Doh! I didn't mean this post folks. The rants here are actually cool and most are fun to hear a "worse then yours" story.

Actually, it can be a good chat up line - espically your scars are in places that you have to be in private to show them

Perhaps you're posting in the wrong thread. There's a 4 page long thread in the Classroom you could visit.

No, I thought this was a rant forum. I'm bitching about peoples lack of listening. If folks talk about a problem, everyone suddenly has to tell their war story and one-up the others. People seem to forget that the reason you're telling it is to be heard, not competed with.
