Grr. I had a list of about 4 or 5 domain names that I was going to register for my website. As it happens, two of them are (as far as I'm concerned) useless, one of them is actually being used for something, one is being held hostage by a tool in London, England, and the other one is held hostage by InterNIC because of a sub-naming system that was never implemented.

Plus, my favorite: getting spam from IP addresses that don't reverse-resolve, especially the ones that point to RIPE or APNIC.

Damnit, I hate DNS.

Heh, I remember when AltaVista first came out (remember < http://www.altavista.digital.com/ > anyone?). I've had to start using Google because few search engines (if any) actually give relevant information.

I yearn for the good old days of the 'Net when it wasn't just anyone who could log on and surf the monstrosity that the web has become.

msn search is pretty good, it also doesnt clog up your results with porn(unless thats what you want)...remember the days when you would search for something completely non sexual and get 9/10 results be porn?...those were the days...

Yeah, well if I were to use MSN then I'd be supporting Micro$oft (read: devil-worshipping).

Hehe, I once was doing a project on the moon. Hint: if you don't want pr0n, don't type "moon" into a search engine.

oh yeah once a girl friend of mine searched on the internet for info on a town from a book we were reading in english class. the name of the town was "eatonville" and she ended up getting stuck in a java loop. it was hilarious because she was the real innocent type. she's a total slut now. maybe thats why..hmm...
