i hate it when people try to argue points about science or other specific fields when they don't know what they are talking about. they have false information and they try to argue it as true. its so annoying. just like that kim commando or whatever on the classroom forum.

i hate when people clame they know what they're talking about, and then you go and provide the research that proves that they don't, and so they have to pick something else that they get totally wrong, and then start a thread to whine about it.

Here's a link to a very similar thread:

This seems to be a very popular practice as there are lots of noobies running around the board now.

error is a part of science. so's making mistakes. all three of us know SOMETHING about what we're talking about, just not all of it... I admit I got some facts wrong... truce?

What is really evil is pseudoscience - taking some b.s. idea and wrapping it up in scientific-sounding jargon so people accept it without thinking, on the premise that "since it sounds scientific it must be true."

wtf kind of cheap shot was that? i guess you have to result to insults when you don't want to admit you are wrong.

i didn't directly insult you. besides i truthfully wasn't referring to you in this thread, our argument just reminded me of people like that who are annoying.

i guess you just have a really ironic sense of timing then.
