They're even worse than the computer kind.

I have a fucking cold, and it's not like I can reformat my body and start over.

So I have to put up with snot and a stuffy nose and coughing for the next few days. I'm gonna be sick on Christmas.

Why can't I buy McAfee for Humans?

Get some hot tea and add to that some honey and some Jim Beam. Let the vapors clear your head and the booze will help you sweat out the rest.

Warm brandy is better than the Jim. I recommend Korbel brandy... hell, I recommend that when you feel great too. Good in Coke too.

As I wrote that last post, I had no idea that little parasites or bacteria from the meat I had eaten that night were starting to work their magic on my digestive system.

I can't think of a better way to spend the day after christmas (yes, the clever devils waited an extra day) than curled in a ball in your dad's living room with your similiarly inflicted brother. I did nothing but roll around the house, stand up, walk 3 steps, fall over, roll some, fall asleep, wake and continue the cycle for a whole day. I don't wish this on anyone. I'm only glad I could't walk far enough to find the shotgun AND the shells.

Was that "hereditary" food poisoning (family outing)? That would realy suck! Noone to sue!

AskHeaves: You gotta actually cook those possum after you scrape them off the road. Just cause they've been in the sun for 4 days doesn't mean they're done.

McAffee sux0rs! It permanently screwed my P2 300 into a primal state...it STILL won't shut down properly, even after multiple reformats and such...trust me, go for Norton...uh okay yeah sorry had to bring that up.

Fuck that, Norton is nothing but a shitload of problems, and didn't prevent my friend's laptop from contracting the CIH virus. What a fucking mess that was! In my three years using McAfee myself, I have never once run into a problem with it that was not easily curable, or due to some other software component.

Anyways, if you like Norton have fun & bend over. I'd prefer not to have a sore ass, so I'll stick with McAfee.

yeah... Norton sux0rs. I can't tell you how many systems I've seen it kill. I've never seen McAfee do that.

Back to the original topic though... I think I'm now coming down with the flu. Fortunately the flu can be treated with Acyclovir or something similar. If I still feel like shit tomorrow I'm rolling in to the doctor.

FUCKING VIRUSES!!! GOD DAMN IT!!!

Don't get me started on the CIH virus..

(Star fade to flash back)
it was my first year of high schoo (or what ever you northern-americans call it)and i met a kid who almost as computer savvy as i was(learning c, html and javascript is tough when your 12..)so we started trading software. i gave him a few months' pc gamer demo-disks and he said he gave me a gold disk his uncle had "burned" for him. i sensed danger, but proceded still, installing grand theft auto and a clip art thumbs browser.....

sure, everything was fine, until the screen flashed and the mcaffe OEM virus screen alert flashed up. this was the first of many to come...... i tried to click "repair" but that didn't work. so i did what every 12 year-old would do. i pulled the plug before mom (who alredy had experience with the blue screen of death) walked in. the virus spread, just getting bigger and bigger. my dad (a computer tech) was away over seas so it was up to me to fix it. 3 reformats and a number of my dad's friends virus programs later, the CIH demon was finally slayed....

(star fade back to reality)

so the moral to this story is, um, don't trust people or something...

edit: fixed up some ubb code
