I don't understand why they have to act like they are so superior to you while they are giving you a ticket. I mean you already feel like crap while your getting one and they just have to rub it in by giving you a big lecture about it. Some cops are nice until they put on that uniform then they turn into bug assholes. Except State Police they are just assholes ALL the time.------------------

Ya no crap. There is Police brutality going all over this country and shit is being done about it. It's bullshit. We've got no rights rights when cops can kill and get away with it.------------------

They are cops. That already explains why they act so superior, and why they behave like assholes so often.
Just try to avoid them... (I know that's easy to say.)

when i got a ticket, i got no lecture. it actually creeped me out. i was like "wait a minute....isnt he going to lecture me??"but he didnt, and it was really odd. but i still know what you mean, i started a thread a long time ago (beginning of september) bitching about the asshole cops who were jerks for no reason...im not gonna bother to find the link....maybe observer will...he does that kinda stuff..------------------

i agree with you guys. in state college a few weeks ago when we lost to temple there was a huge crowd of people. just as they started to get unruly (not a riot yet), the police maced EVERYONE. even non-students just walking around to restaurants, even 17 year old girls running away. they hosed everyone mercilessly. since this was the third incident in the same place, the city deicded that they should force late nite restaurants to shut down because they cause people to hang out. unfortunately this law only affected one place, acme pizza, which happened to be GREAT pizza. they are gone now

You think thats bad. Wait until they impound your car illegally. I got stopped for no reason and the cop impounded the car. So I went to court and the cop said that my tail light was cracked. But the car was still impounded so they send someone to check and it wasnt cracked. So the judge got all pissy at the cop and started lecturing him on bad police work and why people dont like the police. So I didnt even have to pay court costs. Man its a bad feeling when they hook up the tow truck. ------------------

Some streets are emulating Anacostia where i live in Va. You do not want to drive down them especially at night because people will be out in the streets and if they see you coming they will act like they are going to walk into the path of your car. Plus cops are on these streets at least once a week. If you are going to your friends house take the long way around or people will either yell or not get out of the way. On top of that the area has turned off payphones after a certain hour because people would sit in their cars and then shit would get started. Plus you have the people who like to take walks at 3am for some reason... ------------------

Anyone here ever heard of the Summit of the Americas? Do a search on that and the APEC meetings, and you'll see fuckloads of police brutality.The Summit meetings in Quebec were just fucking crazy. Like CK mentioned with the college students, we had a small group of people acting up and the police went nuts. Forget mace - they fired tear gas and rubber bullets. Ever been hit with either? I haven't been bulleted - and I'm glad I didn't; people DIED there - but tear gas is NOT fun. Innocent people, holding up protest signs doing absolutely fuckall - they got SHOT. Of course there were plenty of news crews on site to capture the events as they happened - and it always makes good ratings, right? Not when your head reporter gets teargassed so bad he can't even stay on camera. Fucking pigs. All of them. ------------------

that happened to my friend once. except it was down a storm drain (one of the big 12-feet deep ones) and he didnt jump in after it. fuck the poilce! for Darel Gates...
