Exactly. Just you wait until the day that companies realize that advertising doesn't really work (ie. ROI isn't positive). Then, the only channels we'll be getting are C-SPANk, C-SPANk2 and HBO (but we'll have to pay for that one).

I think Cr0's poll was a sign for help. He's having a tough semister. Expect site content to be really cool around Christmas (after finals) and be really cool until about 4th week of Spring Semister.P.S. I don't know how to spell Semister since I did my college in quarters (3 quarters to a school year.. get it?)

I didn't create this thread.Also, he puts banners on his website for a reason: to make money. And I'm not saying I don't like detnet, I LOVE detnet. I used to be able to come to the site 2 or so times a day, and read something new. I can't do that anymore. Also, have you heard of the term "constructive criticism"? to make money to pay for the site. he has said numerous times that hes not trying to make a profit, only reclaim his losses for paying for the site. i dont know how much you know about hosting a web site, but it does cost plenty of cash.

I didn't start this site to pull a profit (those of you here from the beginning know that), but for the record, it does pay for itself and a bit more. Just shooting for total honesty  (and no, I don't pay dividends)------------------

I have my own site, on my own domain, and it doesn't cost much to run. I don't know how many hits cr0 gets a day, but I doubt you would need more than a T3 to run it.Also, cr0, I didn't mean to flame you or anything, I was just merely agreeing with CatKnight that it would be cool if you posted more news. I'm still going to goto your site everyday, read the forums, check for new knews, re-read the bastardizations, etc., reguardless of whether or not you post more news. When I redid the forums, it overwrote the moderator settings. I didn't bother to re-add moderators since there never seemed to be a need for them.
