Yeah, I agree, it does get annoying when people quote the whole text of a previous message. On the other hand, if you are responding to a specific statement by someone, quoting just that sentence is a good way to avoid ambiguity and show what you're responding to.

Edit: you can't nest quotes, apparently. And I just messed up horizontal scrolling too... And then the ubb code got partially transformed to html...

whats wrong with quotes? they are cool looking. besides they preserve the legality of who said what so there is no question over copyright issues and such.
