My aussie friends had to do a little explaining of the slang (like um why did people call me a sepo- I didn't take over the county with McDonalds)but it was really cool and I picked up some really neat shit while I was there.
I want to go back again at the end of this summer before I start law school but I dont know if I will be able to.
You know what else pisses me off about this place (America that is)? No Milo- god I miss my milo =(

The New York/Melbourne thing... i have been to ny, twice, and yeah it not as clean as over here, but thats not the only difference, i found it a pretty amazing place. though those sewer drains with steam coming out of me always flipped me out, i thought it was some pollution or shit-stench until dad explained it was just steam. i still avoid them though they are just not natural
the main things i noticed about ny were that there was a wendy's, maccas or pizza hut or some other franchise on like every block, and the size of your CDB (central business district, sorry if you already knew that i just wante4d to avoid confusion ) its huge! sydney's CDB is small but intense, but new york was just like whoooaa

Milo is like um a chocolate malt drink thing- hard to explain its not really chocolate milk and it isnt really ovaltine but its kind of a combination...anyway you put the shit in milk and it doesnt all dissolve and you just eat the crunchy bits that float to the top. God I miss it.
And you are wrong Sithiee...Swedish fish are heaps better then Mike and Ikes...I know many people will agree..

p.s. its also really nice (and addictive) if you just grab a spoon and eat some dry. but then you have to have more. and more. until you cant stop eating milo and you turn into some sort of raving milo beast who has been sent to eat the worlds supply of milo!! arrrg!!! i think i have had too much milo tonight hehe
