Rape is a horrible horrible thing. But, sometimes I worry that girls I know put themselves into some bad situations. One of the girls I went to Vegas with this weekend left the club with some random dude and I later ran into her in the elevator lobby going up to the dude's room with him to have a few more beers and I thought to myself ...gee, more beers at 4am with a stranger? Sounds like a solid plan to me. I just didn't want to hear the "he took advantage of me" cries in the morning. You gotta be careful these days. Posted by damien_s_lucifer on Jul. 23 2002,04:10
yeah, a lot of "rape" is the girl blaming someone else for her own stupidity.a guy physically forces you to have sex with him, that's rape. a guy has sex with you while you are unconscious, that's rape. a guy drugs you without your knowledge and consent so he can have sex with you, that's rape. a guy blackmails you into having sex with him (i.e. a professor won't give you an A without it), that's rape. if you're playing around with a guy and end up having sex with him because you are too weak to say "no" with authority, or because you didn't even try to push him away, that's your own goddamn fault... if you can't handle the risks, don't make out with people. it's that easy. you go to a party, get drunk, and end up in bed with somebody you would never dream of fucking if you were sober, that is also your own damn fault. nobody made you drink. if you accuse somebody of "rape" because you're mad at them, you should be shot in the neck. and here i was worried that you were not paying attention to the lessons. Rape is an evil act of violence. but like the man said, if your dumb enough to get lit up and go home with a guy you have been haning on and all but fucking in the bar all night i dont want to hear "He took advantage of me when i was drunk." in the morning. Yea it's tricky. I know a few ppl who go out "chunk-hunting", go back to the guy's place for a few more beers, make the guy think they're going to get some action, and say no.That must be pretty frustrating ... but no means no ... no matter what (but judgement is pretty much down the crapper when you're drunk) and at times I really want to say "it's your damn fault for putting yourself in a bad situation!" How about guys getting raped by girls? Posted by Crafty Butcher on Jul. 23 2002,16:51
is that an offer? i have sub/dom hormonal issues to work thru atm. Posted by Beldurin on Jul. 23 2002,17:02
that happens? I'll admit, I was pressured once, but it's not like I was raped... Posted by demonk on Jul. 23 2002,17:25
Yes, it can and does happen. I don't know about full out rape, but definatly unwanted sexual harrasment/abuse/threats/etc. And a guy can be pressured into having sex with a woman he doesn't want to. The human mind is a very strange thing. All those hormones can really fuck with how you think and feel. I know for a fact that you can be sleeping with a girl and feel horrible about it and not wanting to do it, even while in the act! You can feel guilty before, during, and after and really wish you won't/aren't/hadn't done it. And you can even have the situation repeat several times! The key though is to emotionaly detach yourself from the person. That's the only way you can look at her and say "I don't want to sleep with her, so I'm not going to, no matter what she says or the outcome is".

its just weird though you get everyone saying rape is worse than death and then when it actualy happens they don't even attempt to escape. admittedly a few occasions i held them down so that they didnt have a chance of escape but when it comes to this sort of thing most women seem to fall into the weaker sex stereotype. i mean shit we all have occasions where we're in risk of dying i mean but dont most people just flip out and go all out offensive? i know i have done before.

Men can be full-out raped by women, especially if they're somewhat drunk and she's sober, or they're drugged.IMO, if anybody says "No" and starts pushing the other person off, it's gotta stop. Otherwise, it's rape. But if you're fucking stupid enough to get hammered and fuck a person then you *regret having done so* later and *wish you had said no and pushed them off* it's not rape. |
