Got tix for the midnight showing of Ep II on the 16th! w00t! It's gonna r0x0r. Even better is that I've consciously managed to stay spoiler-free. I don't know a g.d. thing about the story. Oh, yeah, and Natalie Portman's midriff is in it.Mmmm....Natalie Portman.

eppisode II............ another flaming load of shit i refuse to pay money to see.i dunno, maybe i'll bite the bullet and go see Matrix II when it comes out. (the first was awsome, but how the fuck are you going to make a sequell? what the hell would the plot be?!
I doubt i'll be able to stomach Matrix III when it comes out (yes, its comming. they were already filming for it before the first was done.)

i thought episode 1 was pretty good (not great or anything, but a good analogy would be comparing episode 4 to 6...)btw i heard matrix 2 was about a matrix within a matrix or somethin

None of the movies have sucked so far.The best thing to do is keep everything in perspective. Each movie is just a portion of the whole story.
Lucas has said 1,000 times. He doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks of his movies. He has a story to tell, and it's his life's dream to be able to do so.
He would have liked to do them in order, but when he made Star Wars he thought that would be the only movie he'd be able to make. So he picked the most interesting portion of his ALREADY existing story, and told it.
Lots of people hate Jar Jar. Oh well... Lots of people hated Ewoks too. Who gives a shit. It's just one very small prop in an epic story...

I was reading this interview with lucas and he was talking about target audiences and shit with the movie... it's like no fucking wonder ep 1 sucked so bad, he's too concerned with trying to get a target audience and not concerned enough with fucking making a movie. AUGH, Star Wars is age independant, don't fucking worry about your target audience worry about making a good goddamn movie.
