i fucking hate fileplanet. remember the good old days when valve and the CS team hosted their own patches?I refuse to get a free gamespy login just to download a fucking file.
oh btw.... why is it i always get the best downloads from german sites?

I played around on the new cs at an internet cafe place a few nights ago... It's got this top-down map overview thing so you can see everyone at once, and you can also look at 1st person views of other players (finally) which is probably useful for catching cheaters. The movement seemed slower though, I didn't like that.

Was getting spanked as a CT on Prodigy yesterday, so I took a USP and HE nade and rushed the back route. Skull-fucked three AWP-whoring terrs while my teammates cowered behind boxes and whined "hacker" over vox.Now, where's my ballistic shield?

please tell me I'm not the only one that feels they rushed teh 1.1.0.9 patch out. I mean, hell I had to go fuck around with my directX settings to get hl to work once I installed it (fucking sound acceleration, robs me of frame rate). I mean wtf, who uses fucking sound acceleration? Every fucking "performance tweak" type guide thing will tell you to turn it off for instance. Hell, it causes problems with certain mice too.

dysorderia: no, it's true, my copy of CS has survived since _beta_ 1. I whined when kevelar noise was taken out, and now they put it back in... and it's crappier...
