OK, here's helping y'all can help me out on this....

Athlon 600, 256M Ram
Gainward GeForce 3
CL 12x DVD drive
SB Live! Value
Win XP

I'm running WinDVD that came with the vid card, and most DVDs work fine.  However, my Men In Black DVD has two discrete spots where it just....hangs the program.  The DVD is pristine, and works flawlessly in both another system and a TV DVD player.  This problem has persisted through the change of a DVD drive, os, and video card.  I am at the end of my rope here, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

You have noticed that you get them same shitty FPS at 640x480 as you do at 1600x1200 in games, right?

Yeah, upgrade your processor man.

Actually, my fps quadrupled, and there is NO WAY I can break out the funds for another processor, m/b, and memory (all 3 would have to be replaced).

This is ominous.....no suggestions?  cry.gif" border="0">
