I just bought a processor/motherboard deal at a local computer store. 800 mhz duron. I was putting it together and set it to 100 mhz FSB and didn't get any video. When I set it to 133 mhz FSB it gave me video. I was wondering why this happened. Any ideas?

That's pretty weird... it should be the other way around.

Are you absolutely, positively sure you're just not confused? Because if not, congratulations.... you have the only known case of a Duron that needs to be overclocked, and you should be VERY proud of it

Yea man. I'm sure. This may be an error but when booting up it says something like 896mhz instead of 800 mhz. It's pretty weird. I'd tell you exactly what it says but its at home. I'm gonna put FreeBSD on it when I get a new harddrive and benchmark it to see how fast it really is. Later.
