I was just listing to an MP3 thru winamp when my sound cut....i rebooted the comp..still nothing..no system sounds...nothing at all......took the speaker plug out...plugged it back in...rebooted....still nothing....i plugged headphones into the jack....STILL NOTHING if anyone knows of a quick fix to this id apprecite it alot.

yeah maybe something wrong with the jack on the computer..if it was a software conflict or your soundcard was messed up somehow it would probably give you an error when you tryed to play another mp3..check your system settings just to make sure and try using your headphones and wiggle the plug around and see if you get any slight sounds comming out

Well its fixed now...apperntly Winamp was screwing around with my WAV volume setting and no matter how many times I changed it winamp would always set it to 0 when playing a file....now i gotta figure out how to fix that....
