Turn based games like that own.I won't get addicted to them in the same way as a really good FPS or RTS, but once I decide to have a game of allpha centauri, it'll just own me for at least two days. Alpha centauri, for example eats time.. You don't as it's turn based it really doesn't have its own timebase, so you don't really notice the time passing.. Hell yes play it again. I dig it out every like month or so and end up playing it for like a week straight. I have run almost every possibility that is possible in the game at lest twice. I love Planet busters and drop probe teams.------------------ Posted by Vigilante on Apr. 17 2001,13:11

you can download civilization for windows (30 megs) from < www.bhlegend.com > or < www.bhlegends.com, > not sure which- and I have AC on my other comp, and I didn't like it much at all.. civilization ruled though- very very nifty.
