is there a way to convert .ra sound files to mp3.------------------

Easiest way is to convert them to WAV with some recording program capable of long recording. Make sure to disable all other systems sounds when you do it, then after you have the wav, convert it to mp3.------------------

you can use RA2WAV (made by 2Bsystems, works with g2 as well)then use a WAV to MP3 program
