I just got this really cool browser. It looks awsome and has some cool features (mp3 player, FTP client). You can get it < here >.------------------ "You never hear the bullet that hits you" < Neat Shit > Posted by coldfusion on Jun. 28 2002,21:55

thanks for that post CK. i was just about to install the browser when i read it. there are a few good alternative out there. i mostly prefer browsers built on IE engine as opposed to those built on Mozilla (i think that's right) engine, aka Opera. The best thing about these browsers is multiple windows feature. I personally use one called MyIE, it very small, fast and doesn't require instalation at all. There's also NetCaptor, but that one is not free and it's sometimes hard to find a working crack.

if you goto < http://www.fuckmicrosoft.com > there is a list of alternative browsers (down the left side of the homepage)

Some buddies of mine really liked < NeoPlanet >. Looked kind of cool, but I never tried it.

I'm pretty sure opera isn't built on mozilla - all their own development.

i need to start using opera again. Posted by Bob_the_Cannibal on Jul. 01 2002,05:55
I'll stick to my stolen code, as long as it renders nicely. Opera can't render tables (like this forum) worth a good goddamn. it auto-resizes each <td> to the max width of the data contained therein. the entire point of the table is to be uniform width of each cell. it _should_ auto resize (n-th) <td> to the largest (n-th) <td> in the <table> having used most alternatives, IE is still the real one. that's why the others are "alternatives"... Neoplanet? I remember when Neoplanet used all the IE dlls, and was a 4mb download. then they wrote their own renderer and it exploded to 10 megs, or something like that... I'll stick with integration. it's convienient. (mostly) Posted by ^Oni^ on Jul. 02 2002,14:01
