I keep getting this error whenever I do anything that uses directdraw (i.e. everything). It says Beta version of directdraw has expired. please update. I just press ok and then things work fine, but it's quite annoying. how the hell do I upgrade this? I tried reinstalling directx 8 to no avail...

Well i wouldve thought re-installing directx wouldv done it, but perhaps fall back to directX version 7 ?
