This just came into my head.

PS2s can run Linux.
Linux has freeware video players out the ass.
Linux has a DivX codec.

My idea is to get PS2 Linux, add in a movie player and the DivX codec, then stick an AVI on there!

Anyone tried this? Suggestions for a good Linux movie player? Info on the PS2 Linux kernel? Converting DivX to PSSs?
