Being the child of a person who's getting some money from the tax cut I'm entitled to 赨. Well my father has just told me that he's going to give this money to me, so I want to see how much of a compuer I can build with that much cash. Here's what I have so far:

Got my old sound&Video card, and 128MB PC133 RAM
I can get a case/PS/Keyb/mouse/flopp drive for โ
I'm deciding between the MSI K7T Turbo Limted (it's red! w00t!) 贎 or a cheaper, downsized version for around ์
IBM 10gig HDD ๊.00
any help, cheaper parts or whatnot would be appreciated
oh and it has to be AMD, intel sux major balls

My suggestion is to save up a bit more cash and build a better system. I feel the need for a shamless plug, so I'll < water cool > your computer if you want.

And the reason I suggest you wait is because you're not going to be able to upgrade much for 赨. Once you get the processor and motherboard, you don't have anything left over for a video card. Wait till you have about 踰, then you can get a pretty good system.

Oh yes, and it's watercooled, so as soon as I get a new motherboard, I'm overclocking this bad ass.

w00t, I want to be l33t like you I think I may just let you do that there bud, tho you'll have to wait a while I'm thinking of waiting a while anyway and getting a Athalon 4. 1.6Ghz of AMD raw power? Yes Please!

and get an uber 133t case like an antec sx830 or something. you will never cut yourself on the inside and something lie that will last you a lifetime. a lot of people underestimate what a good qualioty case can do for your pc and the health of your hands
