right-click on network neighbourhood
select properties
find the TCP/IP bound to your nic
click it and then properties
specify an ip address
tada

i might be very wrong
but it looks as if he he did the quote thing, but the part that says who wrote that and the quote tags got lost
or he just copy pasted without quoting

EDIT: since nothing was added to the post except his signature it looks like a shameless promotion of his site. but then again, i might be wrong
