Does anybody know what happened in the last 3 days or so? You can get a 256Meg stick for ำ. Quality SDRAM. Everything else is coming down with it. Is it economic trends? Saturated market? I'm in awe. Time to order up some new mems!

haha i know i have now upgraded from 128 to 640 cos of it being so cheep cheep. now all i need is to take advantage of the piss cheep cheep 1.2 ghz athlon ------------------

it's because all the new technologies coming out in RAM. DDR, Rambus, etc. To you or me, it really means nothing because we buy what goes in our board. To an idiot, they buy the Rambus, then the sales guy says "that won't work in your motherboard, you need this 200 dollar one".Or maybe the government is putting special tracking stuff in the chips so that they know what we're all doing all the time, and they made it cheap to make sure everyone buys it... DAMN YOU DUBYA!! He's trying to track where we get all the good porn from...

Hehe ... I ordered 512MB of Crucial PC2100 for a total of 贄 w/free shipping. I was out looking for a qCat (PS/2 barcode scanner) for work, and I got curious & asked what this one place in town wanted for a 256MB stick of DDR ... it was some no-name crap, PC1600, CAS3 - and they wanted 贶 CDN (about 贄 US) for it!Morons.

well its obviously really why sdram is piss cheap cos ddr ram is supposed to be the "in" thing so sdram isnt as "good" even though really its perfectly fine for anything i mean 256 meg of ram is 256meg more memeory before you need virtual memory right? so its still gonna make pc much more bitch hot!------------------

time to stack up on some serious ram
and is athlon 1.2GHz really worth it right now, or would it be better to wait for a little bit till 1.4GHz or some newer one drops in price
i am not in a rush, but my current computer is so bad i can't even play CS on it
