I for one am not one of those "sales" people or "coupon" people. But when I saw in Thursday's paper that Best Buy was having their annual after Thanksgiving sale, and they had Visiontek GeForce3 TI200's for 贄 after mail in rebate... I knew I had to have one.

So I was at BB this morning for 7:00 and grabbed the card in a few minutes... then waited in line for an hour or so.

But DAMN! It is worth it... the chameleon demo is amazing. And being able to have 4x anti aliasing with the same framerates as my last card (GeForce2 MX) is just... just... amazing.

does that sale happen to include the pny geforce3 ti 200? the pny has the faster memory and can easily oc to a ti 500

GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING ASS LICKING PEICE OF MONKEY SHIT!

They also had, if you saw, a 60 gig HDD for โ net (after mail in rebates) that I actually, for once in my fucking life, had the money for. I live withen driving distance of two Best Buys. Both were fucking sold out. God damn it all. I have a motherboard, Case, and PS. I needed that HDD for my new comp. Fucking hell. Plus dosn't it say on the flyer "Friday & Saturday"? don't you think they would restock the shit tomarrow? I called them and asked and both said they weren't restocking until sunday, AFTER the damn sale. I swear sometimes I wish I had a fucking gun. Damn Best Buy marketing dept.

There were no rainchecks, and it was only a five hour sale. It said it in the flyer - limited quantities available - once the 贄 cards were gone, they were gone.

I heard some people had marginal luck with buying the card beforehand and getting it pricematched during the sale, however.

Oh yes... overclocked from 175 core and 400 memory to 240 core and 460 memory

ti500 is 260 and 500 IIRC.

460 memory?! dear god I need a gf3.. my gf2mx is overclocked at 190 memory and 180 core.

Ah well I have a 30gig thats not guaranteed to work, 128 DDR RAM, and an 800 duron processer. Just waitin for my case from Ebay. Plus I talked to both places on the phone about rainchecks, and getting the same deal, but they weren't getting a new shipment of the Hard Drives 'til sunday. I could get a raincheck, but I'd have to pay full price for it. Oh well.

On a side note I'm gonna be able to hook this new comp up to my stereo, mwahaha.
