yeah, if uve a linux box sat at the end of your cablemodem:

add a cronjob of a script that just does


#!/bin/sh

cat /home/you/message_you_set | mail you@your.mail.addy

peasy.

Thanks a lot, but unfortunately I don't have a linux box, nor do I know much about linux. I am however trying to learn.

Does anybody know of a service that will e-mail you at times you set, with a message you set? I need this so I can basically have reminders sent to me on my cell phone.

No, but you could easily write a script to do that for you.
