My mouse just stopped responding and now im using the keyboard to do everything and it's pissing me off.

I've tried:
hardware detection
system restore (no restore points available)
reinstalling drivers
hitting the mouse a few times
hitting the computer a few times
restarting SEVERAL times
and now im posting a message on these forums.

I was just browsing through the internet when it just stopped responding.

1) Try a different mouse.
2) Try mouse in a different computer.

It sounds like a hardware problem, this should help.

Just my luck, about 30 minutes after making a WHOLE NEW TOPIC *GASP!!!!* i tried the mouse off my moms computer and now i know that its busted.

It was a logitech standard serial mouse, connects into a DB9 female.

... hehe female- sexual distinctions for your computer..

hehe same thing happenbed to me my mouse nuked itself out on me too. i'm just gonna get a new one
