I've had this microsoft keyboard with a bunch of round purple buttons on it for about a year now and I just realized that these buttons actually automatically correspond to things the computer could do!!! Like, I hit the calculator button and the calculator came up! My Computer, same thing! I can even go forward or backward in tracks in Media Player without even having it in focus!!!!With this newfound power, I can rule the world! Posted by kornalldaway on Oct. 22 2001,01:34
i like the keyboard with just unassigned buttons that i can make run certain applications or do certain thingsi thnk microsoft makes a few empty ones on their keyboard, but i don't need all the rest i never use media player or calculator or my computer for that matter Posted by damien_s_lucifer on Oct. 22 2001,01:59

Look at me! With the push of a button, I can have thousands of instances of Outlook up in an instant!!! Shit... seem to be crashing. What does 'Out of Virtual Memory' mean?

I have one of these ergonomical keyboards... actually it is a German one which sux0rs, but I've switched it to American. Then I put little adhesive tape strips with the American key names over the German ones, but half of them fell off... Looks weird. ------------------ Posted by Jimi on Oct. 24 2001,05:22

I hate keyboards that have all those extra buttons and crap. I just like a plain, small functional keyboard, with a nice crispy action. Also I hate those keyboards where the enter key is 4 times as big, and the backspace key has been made 1/2 as big so they can cram the backslash next to it. Then whenever I reach for the backspace, I get the slash instead.

I haven't had any trouble (other than battery life only being a month with my useage) with my logitech optical wireless, even in games, maybe you had something leaking that was causing interference?

Can I just warn folks not to buy wireless optical mice? It's a bad idea. Something with the RF transmission, I think, that jsut causes the worst lag. Especially don't try it for games. I've had the first Logitech Optical and MS's new Optical Wireless. Both just bothered me.And, for keyboards, occasionally I switch the keys to dvorak. That's the manly way of typing. Yeah, that's it Liney, do you want a real American keyboard for Christmas? That can be arranged This message has been edited by damien_s_lucifer on October 25, 2001 at 01:39 PM Posted by LiNeY on Oct. 24 2001,19:21
