Just wondering if there's an easy way to shrink sizes of movies via cutting frames, reduced resolution, etc. Basically I have a 699M movie that I want to get to fit on a CD.Any progies/methods? Yes, for win98. Yes, i'm a moron. Is only 699M now. and about 23.7fps now, is .avi format. what format is it in, and what framerate does it have?If it's ~30fps, you could use VirtualDub to downconvert it to 23.97 fps, which should shrink it down to under 700MB. Posted by Der_Teufel on Sep. 23 2001,21:27
I'm assuming it's DivX. If the credits have not been cut off, you could do that with VirtualDub or you could drop the bitrate on the audio a little.
