Ok, so as most of you probably know, I'm single again. Last time I tried to meet a girl was back during my Junior year in high school. I dated the girl I met for almost 4 years. I'm now going onto my Senior year in college, and I've realized that I have no idea where to go to meet college girls. It's actually kind of embarrising. I've spent most of my college life with my nose in a book, hardly getting out and doing the traditional college partying (my friends are all losers I'm telling you). But I'm out shopping now, and I'm looking for some good advise. I don't want any crack-whores or women who have slept with half the school. At the same time I don't want a girl who is frigid/unexperienced/unexperimental. Any good suggestions out there?

I say bars and dance clubs are the best bet. There are drinks to get everybody loose and loud music if you need a reason to grind up against girls wearing next to nothing that you just met. Plus, this is where people go to hook up, so the odds are the best you will find. And don't discount school itself. I've asked many a girl to come over for a study session that was actually a front for my alterior motives. Look around your classroom ...look at all the hot college girls just sitting there waiting for a guy to ask them out. How much easier can it get?

You mean the two-three girls in my classes that are in ALL of my classes and are already taken? I'm an engineer in my Senior year, so the number of available, attractive women in my classes is at an absolute minimum. I met my last gf in my classes since she was in all the advanced one like I was. Thanks though.

Well, I'm taking Ballroom dancing 1 in the fall, so hopefully I can meet some fun girls there. I would take the latin dance class except I'm really shitty at dancing, so a I need to start out a little slower. Maybe for the winter term...Thanks for the suggestions. If you want somebody who is not a slut, but at the same time open, not frigid, not "marry me first", and not stupid, I'd say that you want an intellectual girl. If you can't find girls in your classes or in dance class, I'd say go for library/bookshop, CD store, or just plain simple grocery store or laundry saloon. It's easy to spot the nice girls from the not nice ones there, way easier than it is in a bar or club, because when you meet them in "normal everyday life", you can see what they are really like.

i agree. physics type courses suck at getting decent women.martial arts arent really that good to be honest. cos if the girls cant hack it they leave and if they can it means they are usually a bit psycho.

depends on the type of woman you want to meet where you should go.I agree going dancing is one of the best, though I lean towards swing dancing rather than Latin - again it depends on the type of woman you want to meet.
Libraries and bookshops are good but you have to realize complete strangers generally don't start conversations in these places unless one of them works there.
Clubs and bars are ok, but you have to remember the type who will let themselves be "picked up" in those locations.

But I was running the course. I could tell who was what, mentally. I've only ever had 2 people quit and one quit because I told her to leave. Other than that, I have had some good times with a few of my students, long after the course had finished though.

In all seriousness, I do want an intelligent woman (it's boring talking to myself) who is a good person (so I can take her home to mom) and can still be a raging sex addict when in private (that's when those handcuffs come into play). Of course, I think that describes most guys' dream girl. But mine would also have to love computers, perferably a gamer too, and must, let me repeat, must like Star Trek. While I'm not one of those people who has a costume, I do love the universe and want someone who won't look at me funny everytime I want to watch an episode or movie.
Now smarty pants, tell me where to find a girl like that!

Um, I know several girls like that. Comes from being a gamer-chick and having to search for other gamer chicks.
I've been to multiple star trek conventions (I was the chauffer and my friend paid my way in) and I see plenty of women there (and yes I was sure some of them were women).
As for intelligent - all of the gamer-chicks I've known have been intelligent. Most are book-smart as well as world-smart (though normally more the first than the second).
Really - THEY DO EXIST....and some of them own handcuffs (or at least fur-lined, leather manacles.......er..sorry...renfaire popping back into my head).
The only problem is that they generally come with lots of issues and baggage - but then who doesn't?

Anyway, I think libraries/bookstores are great places to meet MOTIS. (Members Of The Interesting Sex)
And apparently someone at the University of Pittsburgh aggrees with that, else the police beat would not typically feature at least one story about a male and female student caught in compromising positions in the fifth floor stacks of Hillman Library.

I lived in the Seattle area for 3 years - that close enough to Portland for you, or do you want someone in Portland itself?

If you want to be really polite, use -sama... if you are speaking to a colleague in a superior position or a student in a higher grade, use -sempai... etc... there are tonnes of those...
