what do you prefer? a bath or a shower? at what temperature? and if it's the shower what's your fav spot?

My tub is generally too scary to bathe in (mineral deposits, and all).

As for the shower, gotta say my favorite spot is directly under the falling water.

At school, we had hyper jet sand blasting nozzles that you could probably clean the most stubborn caked on grease with. I miss those

long hot showers

i can be in the bathroom for almost half an hour, and red as a lobster when i get out

as for my fav spot it's on the nape of my neck and right between the shoulders

I didn't realize so many people liked that! I aim it right at the back of my neck... then turn up the heat till I can barely stand it! Then I turn it up some more!! I've been recently having some dry skin problems though, so I had to cutting back on it and use lotion afterwards.

I'm notorious for my excessivly long showers

I turn it right up and let the whole stall fill with steam before I get in. Its like a wet sauna in there . I actully just got out of the shower as I'm writing this . Then I usually let the water hit my in the chest for half the time and at the nape of my neck right between the shoulders.
If I'm not red and steaming when I step out, it wasn't a good shower

i like a shower. not real hot. unless it's VERY cold out.

i don't like to soak in the bathtub, cause the water gets too cold too fast.

tandem: showers and baths. showers require EXTREME care not to slip on the soap. and baths, well, sometimes it can be a little tough to fit 2 pairs of long legs into the tub.

and heaves: if i'm gonna come visit you, clean your tub, eh.

Long hot showers/hot bathing sessions.

HOT water. Just enough to make it harder to breathe.

Ahh.. let's not forget shower massagers.. those are sweet. High pressure, high heat.

personally dont like showers. they dont get enough of your body wet enough all at the same time. showers only good for shaggin in. baths however rox as long as they have lottsa bubbles and full up nice and high but not too hot else i find trouble breathing i like it warm but not hot so i can just soak in it and contemplate the universe

baths are ok, but i don't like sitting in the water that contains the dirt that came off of me already.

and also, sex in bathtub can lead to flooding and angry visit from landlord. coitus interruptus tubus. eek.

I like showers better only because I outgrew my bathtub long ago... I can sit down in it, but that's it... I have to bend my knees a little, too. Even with showers, I have to bend over to get under the water... If I ever have sex in the bath/shower, I won't be the one doing the work.

I take showers- dont know if I really have a preference for bath or shower necessarily. I do take baths occassionally for stress reduction- sometimes its good to just sit there and do nothing. The trick is not to stay in too long 15-20 mins tops should do the trick.

It was strange- I thought taking baths was more of a girly kind of thing until I met my ex bf. He took baths all the time- I had no idea why. Sometimes we would take them together but that was difficult (neither of us are small people) Now with the new guy (and the new apt, 22 on my own what a nice thing) hes Way Too Big to sit with me in a tub of water so we mostly shower together (even thats kind of hard)but we make that one work.

In order for me to take a bath the tub has to be really clean which takes some time but mosty I feel its worth it if I get some stress relief out of it.

The problem with the US is no Bath Bombs- you aussies might have a clue what Im talking about. Lush has them- they are these balls of fizzy stuff that make the bath smell really good and they get you all clean (they got rid of my chocolate mint thou )But they dont have them here in the US (or not any more anyway) so I have to do with bubbles which I dont like as much (surprisingly enough)

i wouldn't take a bath in my tub if you paid me. i scrubbed that motherfucker for 4 hours and still couldn't get all the shit out of it (4 full hours!

) used all different kinds of cleaners, nothing worked.

also i'm to tall for baths. 6'1" showers can be a pain if i have to lean over to rinse my hair.

lol whats wrong with you people do you like roll around in mud for 5 hours? are you THAT dirty that when you take a bath that the dirt displaces the water? its not like the dirt sticks to you or anything for gods sake all you do is (and i HATE to get technical here for you shower guru's) is pull....the...plug! oh look the dirt goes away! wow bet you didnt know that did you!

Bathing in your filth, i sort of understand it you're all nasty.

Dirty tubs... that's easy. Mineral deposits, dirt, mildew, soap scum, etc. That's why I use Tilex

i prefer showers myself just because it takes too long to run a bath. im one of those instant gratification types. this past december i went to japan though and they have their super hot baths for soaking after you take a shower. i sat in there for 20 mins one time, and when i finally got out i nearly passed out and smashed my head. what an ass i am...

I would tend to agree, but all the Asian chicks I know are hella short (hmm... wonder why that is...), and I can like stand behind them and put my head on top of theirs... Plus, they're all airheads and really piss me off.

i was staying at this one chicks house so i couldnt go chick watching too much w/o getting busted, however alot of the chicks i did see were those super loud fasion types w/ fake tans dyed hair and 7 1/2 inch high shoes. but i went during the summer too and just wandered aroud the country and there were some very good loking ones then. ask darksol about mcdonalds.... har har har!

I am with kuru on this, baths are just gross. The first few minutes are good if you are stiff (muscles ), but after that the water starts losing heat and you end up in a luke warm pool of what you were trying to clean off. Plus the time factor makes me a shower man as I suspect most guys are.
