OH MY GOD! My internet was down the other day, so I used my uncles computer to get my email. I wondered what his "recent sites bar" would look like, so I clicked the arrow.

I found several super boaring sites AND < www.kissme.com > < www.femmine.com > < www.girltalk.com > < www.girl.com > < www.iamgirl.com >

So I wondered what his bookmarks looked like. They were all normal except one that was just _blank_. So I edited it to see what the address was: < www.nifty.org/nifty/transgender >

YIKES!
And now that I think about it, he's getting older and still isn't not married (NEVER seems to be dating)... watches HGTV... collects Disney porceline figurines... makes Christmas ornaments for everyone in his office as a present... drinks tea... always talks about adopting a kid... verbally bashes gays ANY time they're mildly brought up... and uses a flowbee!

onClose() sux0rs my ass0r. Especially on DSL, where the damn windows multiply faster than rabbits. The only thing I've found to break out of one of those loops (besides the almighty RESET) is holding down ALT-F4... anyone else have any suggestions?

If you're using netscape (unlikely), try hitting ctrl-q instead. Quits everything, but no onClose() windows... You might try disabling javascript too (both netscape & IE).

But the way I prefer is killall -9 netscape, works everytimes!

That's for Unix systems only, tho. Once upon a time I had KILL.EXE and JOBS.EXE for Win32... man, I wish I had those now.

Doesn't it seem like having a "disable onClose()" option would be very simple for the Netscape and IE coders to implement? That way we wouldn't have to disable javascript just to avoid fucking onclose() loops.
