first times are just that - first times. it's all about getting it out of the way, and then getting down to some serious practice. wasn't exactly a talking to god experience for me but who's is?

In all honesty, this is all true, but it wasn't that great. I was using free condoms from a convention I was at a month prior. They were too small and barely fit (seriously not bragging), and made things real tough. I was limp, it took seconds, and bang it was over... both times. I tried to go down on her, but I was clueless, so she nicely told me that that was enough.

It's a fact, people who aren't from the New England area don't understand sarcasm. I'm from MA originally, and I've had plenty of wierd experiences both with relatives from the South and here in MN where people think I'm crazy because they simply haven't been exposed to enough sarcasm to detect it in someone's voice, let alone in writing.

So yes, I think that to avoid ambiguity, it generally would be a good idea to use the <sarcasm> ... </sarcasm> tags to denote statements that aren't meant to be taken seriously. That goes for all of you.

maybe i oughta just put a sign at the front that says 'objects on bb may be less serious than they appear' like they do with car mirrors.

Yeah, the problem is finding information that you didn't already post, Brett. For instance, you already mentioned, I believe, that you graduated last spring from MSOE. You may not have explicitly stated that you were an SGA senator or that you did a senior project on first person game design with Windows CE and directx, but that information is easy enough to find. As for your current job at what at least used to be US West, you probably mentioned that too.
