It winds me up that everyone pesters the girlie(s) on a mainly-male posting BBS into posting their picture. It is like this -- one of my best mates IRL is gay. Well, he might be. But I don't care. Not that I'm homophobic but I'm trying to draw a comparison.

My other friends say, "but look at him! He's as camp as a row of tents!" "You MUST realise he's gay!"

My point is, he's one of my very best friends, has been for years, and if he is or isn't doesn't even enter my mind. I like him for his personality, etc, I don't need to know every last detail to make him more in my eyes.

So, wait on Kuru, she may give you a pic one day (im sure it's in her power to get one scanned if she really wanted to) but guys at the end of the day it's not THAT important, right?

Anyway, what are you all so obsessed at looking at a prion for anyway? Get a scanning electron microscope, ffs!

Rol3x: I understand that you're all agitated because yer not getting those kuru pics you wanted to whack off to, but that's no excuse for you to flip out on incubus.

Go look in the forum where you've previously posted your own pics. Kuru posted a pic of herself there - it was a prion. What do prions have to do with anything? As kuru has explained before, her nick comes from a brain disease found in headhunters in New Guinea. Prions are unique in that they're the only pathogens that are both heriditary and infectious. They're proteins, and to see their structure you need an electron microscope. Read up on < Kuru and prions > for yourself.

In the future, you might want to consider thinking before you attack.

i'm not going to post a picture of myself. not yet, and probably not for a long time. why? because i know that everyone on this board who's been asking for one has already built up in his (or her) mind what i look like.

it's not that i think i'm too ugly, or that i'm really a guy. i'm not either of those. i just like it how it is now, where all that really matters about me is what thoughts and feelings i post. a pic changes that. it's like if you listen to the radio for a long time, and then you finally see the dj. it changes perception, and i don't want that.

i'm flattered that you've asked, and kept asking, but there will be no pic anytime soon.

i'm just a faceless mind here, and i want to stay that way for a while.

A better question to ask is, "Why should we see a pic of her?" What possible good could come from her posting her pic? There's something to be said about the anonymity of the internet. It's not a matter of needing to stick up for incubus, but rather disgust at the fact that you didn't read his entire post before you proceeded to attack him. yes, i have posted general descriptions of my looks. but that's far from posting a picture, and it still gives room to imagine damn near anything.

i'm just kuru, that chick who's thoughts people read. some computer geek who says she looks a certain general way. you guys can make up the rest.

My pevious statements saying that kuru should post it were simply pointing out illogical and irrationalness of her dissition. However, if she truely is determinded not to put it up I support that.
