As stupid and pointless some of the topics are (hhmmm, Penis Size?) you should have no right to close them.

Personaly, I would just people talk about what ever they want, and I am pretty sure that I am speaking for just about everyone who actualy visits this site.

you sure as hell arent speaking for me. its cr0's site, its cr0's time, its cr0's money, it's cr0's reputation, but its our right? no, he can do whatever the fuck he wants to. if he decided to delete all the forums but the mod review forum, yknow what? youre gonna take it, and your going to be thankful that cr0 had the rest of the forums up for as long as he did, seeing as how if he didnt bother at all he could have saved himself a lot of trouble and yet he didnt. think about things like that the next time you whine about stuff.

Hey, before you flame me for closing the topic consider the following:

-It was the SECOND such active topic--why don't you read a little before starting new topics? Using the board means that you read and write, not just write.

-It was like the fourth time such a topic has come up in numerous threads--again, read a little!

-Someone else has already made your complaint. I'm sick and tired of having to defend myself repeatedly. AGAIN, READ A LITTLE!

-It's not "censorship". People like you who are ignorant love to jump on people like me for being "censors" and doing things that we have "no right to do".

FOR THE STUBBORN (i.e., Dan) I WILL EXPLAIN THIS ONE MORE TIME:

I paid 赨 for this board and more than that each month to run this site--I like to see people enjoy it and use the forums to discuss whatever they'd like. Imagine for a moment that I don't care how big anyone's penis is. I didn't mess with the original penis length topic, and it went on for quite some time. Suddenly, more pop up. I locked one of them because it was pathetically redundant and completely lacking in substance. I'm not trying to "censor" anyone, I'm trying to keep things orderly.

Actually I'm sick and tired of typing out my defense. I shouldn't have to do this. If you've still got a problem with the fact that I nuked your second or third beloved penis thread, write me an email with your phone number and I'll give you a call and we can discuss it. Other than that quit complaining, there are plenty of places for you to discuss that here already.

i wasent trying to be an asshole, but i still think you shouldent close any topics unless someones posting hard core porn or warez or some shit that can get you in trouble, so what if there are 12 topics talking about the same exact thing? it doesent hurt anyone.

(and thanks for editing that post above, thats the kind of stuff that keeps thing orderly (keeping it readable)) The thing I dont like is that when YOU edit posts it doesent put the "edited by cr0bar" shit at the bottom, we should be able to know when you editted our posts.

Any why the hell would you pay 200 bucks for something you could. A) find a warez copy and not pay anything, B) get a different and free script (PHP Phorum, a hacked WWWBoard or my own forum script (used on < GAMING ERA >)) or C) write or have someone write you a forum script.

As you can see, i'm a cheap perl programmer with a 6.3 inch penis (you knew that was coming, didnt you ;] )

It's not censorship just because it's a public board! He pays for it...thus he OWNS it...therefore he can do whatever the hell he pleases. Whether it's locking redundant threads or editing stupid messages that's his right as the owner of the board. It was said earlier and I will repeat it in case you didn't catch it the first time "if you don't like it don't post and go get your own damn board devoted to penises". Unfortunately, that's not how it works. They don't pay that much, and they often renege on their contractual obligations. Lowtax, Stile, cr0bar; these are just a few examples of people that have been screwed over. Read cr0bar's rant on the front page for more details.

The main reason why your thread was closed is because it exsits elsewhere and is open. All you have to do, if you want to weight in on the topic, is use the search function and post a reply. If you have something new and intersting to say (like was previously mentioned) it could bring that thread back from the proverbial dead. Otherwise beginning a new thread on an old topic is just redundant.
