During Monday Night Football there was a commerical for buddy lee clothing and I could not believe my eyes. I saw that guy in the red jumpsuit doing his mixes against that plastic buddy lee doll.

IT WAS SUPERGREG! (http://www.supergreg.com/)

OMFG. He really did get a break in the united states! Only about 5 million people or so saw him in the 20 second commerical.

GO SUPER GREG!

First of all, why did you cross-post this to the "Rants" forum? This isn't like a collection of different newsgroups; anyone who reads this forum reads them all. (With the exception of some *cough* Blain *cough* who only read the sex forum...(And of course, cross-posting is bad manners even in newsgroups))

Second of all, who is this "Super Greg" and why should I care?

I've seen that commercial too, a while ago, but I didn't make the connection until you posted something now... that's pretty darn cool

Oh, and Michael is right. I haven't been to Rants yet, but if I see this posted over there, HEADS WILL ROLL!!!

Yah, I saw the commercial BEFORE cr0 posed the supergreg.com link. I was suprised to see that he's either an on-going joke (Spinal Tap ish), or a really silly REAL guy (Selvester Stalone ish)!

Hey, that hurt! Actually, I read all the forums; it’s just that I only feel the need to post my lame one-liners in the sex forum.

OK, I guess I just assumed that since I had never seen you post anything in any other forum...

As for this Super Greg guy... well, in my mind DJs sort of fall into two categories. There are the ones who can keep a dance alive, and there are those that often find themselves wondering why everyone is just standing around or wandering out the door. And of course, most of that is probably due more to who is at the dance than who is playing the music anyways.

Oh you kings of observation!

Not seen Madonna's video for Music then?

Super Greg is Ali G in another guise. It's the same person: Sacha Baron-Cohen. He's huge over here in blighty and he's extremely funny.

He first got fame on the 11 O'Clock Show as the Voice of Yoof. He went and interviewed people on certain topics like drugs and politics and kind of highlighted peoples' prejudices and idiocy but he also made lots of people piss themselves laughing. Mainly the audience though.

He got his own show and then Madonna asked him to be in her video and I guees he's now trying to bust out over there.

BTW what did he do in the ad?
cheers
