That is hella' cool. What do you have in there that requires so much cooling, anyway (or is it just for |337-ness)?------------------ Posted by miNus on Jul. 20 2001,01:53

Well I actually did throw it in the pool. From my roof, no less! If someone can explain a way for me to get VHS video into my computer, then I will upload the video my brother made when I did it! I just sort of heaved it off of the section where my window opens up. I didn't throw the monitor in though, I've heard those retain a lot of electricity and can shock the hell out of you...then again, I think that would make the video a lot cooler.

MiNus; so you totaled your T-bird?So a water cooling system just has a pipe system filled with cool water in front of a fan? ------------------ Posted by miNus on Jul. 20 2001,23:32
Non:Yep, may my tbird RIP. (oh well I wanted a 1 gig anyway ) Take a closer look at the pics. Here's how it goes: Tupperware contains water and the water pump. The pump pumps cool water from the tupperware (reservoir) to the waterblock (copper thing on CPU), which heats up the water, losing it's own energy. From there it's onto the radiator (it's actually a tranny cooler) which the fan blows on, removing the heat from the radiator, and moving it into the surrounding air. The cool water then again enters the reservoir. Neat, eh? -miNus This message has been edited by miNus on July 21, 2001 at 06:32 PM Posted by shifter on Jul. 21 2001,00:22
Mine still works better:1. Turn down pool temperature Oddly enough, the processor stopped working =( Posted by miNus on Jul. 21 2001,00:23
That is odd. You might want to contact the manufacturer, see if they'll warranty it for you. That's obviously a manufacturing defect.
