Today, I was working the deep fryers at my restruant's food stand (www.musikfest.org) in 100 degree weather, and a fellow walked up carrying a black messenger bag. He asked if I'd like to try some red bull, and I said sure. He then gave me and my partner free redbull. I watched him walk around the festival area, giving out free drinks to food vendors and volunteers. I'm pretty sure RB paid him to do this, but I'm not sure, because he wasn't wearing a RB shirt or anything. If RB was doing this, they're pretty krad in my book. They definately would have gotten a new customer, if the fuckers wern't 2.50 a pop. So, I was wondering if there was any alternative advertising you've seen that you thought was pretty cool. Off the top of my head, I can think of some taco shop in Cali that said if you get a tatoo of their logo somewhere on your body, they give you free tacos for life. ------------------

A tatoo of their LOGO. So basically they supply you with tacos, and if you expose that tatoo to the public... but I bet it's like one taco per day or some other condition.

mmmmm....gina... The most creative thing I saw was during an offroad truck race. A truck flipped over and a sponsor had had thier logo/advertisement painted on the bottom of the truck...good idea, but I bet the driver felt like a knob. "No, we don't think it WILL happen, you're a GREAT driver, but just in case..."
