I don't know if any of you all have heard of anything like this ... I have really sensitive skin, if I scratch it just hard enough with my fingernail, there will be a painless raised welt that follows the path of the scratch. When my friends and I watched X-Men waaay back then, a buddy of mine got over-enthusiastic and pulled a Wolverine move ... clawed my back. So I was walking around with crossing hatchmarks on my back for the next 30-40 minutes. Needless to say I was quite annoyed b/c I had to put my hair down to cover the marks ... and it was in the hot, humid, Illinois summer. Good thing they didn't decide to play tic-tac-toe on my flesh ... and I don't know what to do about it. Bleh. Posted by L33T_h4x0r_d00d on Jul. 19 2001,14:02
I do believe thats a natural reaction...------------------ quote: Posted by LiNeY on Jul. 19 2001,15:15
That reaction occurs often to people with really sensitive skin. I have it, too, and my dog still hasn't checked that it's not good if she jumps up on me with her claws...Moisturing lotion will do you skin a lot of good and it is likely to make the red marks go away more quickly. ouch, I don't burn ... I tan quite well, but a tiny scratch raises the damn bumps. I always wear jeans around the pets. Cocoa butter makes skin smoooooooth
