So, when l33t says something about slate (for example), slate can tell l33t's joking. I think you guys just get to much sand in your vagina when a newbie comes in because you can't tell the difference between a joke and a flame, or if a flame is even a flame...

I agree with this a bit also. I can see a little flaming for the first timers but sometimes there is a need to exute some control. I like that about this forum. People here seem to be decent enough to spank a little ass but not beat the poor donkey to death. I'm not complaining about any smartass comments I've gotten because most were valid...however, I see no point in pussing out and backing into a corner either. thanks. i grew up with my dad telling me i'd be in the military or he wouldn't pay for college. i'm probably going to go to north georgia college, but all they have is army rotc. i'm not going into the army for anything. it's probably gonna be air force for me, since they don't let women go through sniper school. i'm in civil air patrol, so i know what i'm getting into, and what personality is needed.

That is hilarious...my husband and I were speculating as to whether or not your parents were the ones pushing you into the military considering you really didn't sound like it was your calling. I actually didn't grow UP on base. My mom is Civil Service on Eglin AFB in the Niceville/Ft. Walton Beach area of FL. (Thank GOD she's only Civil Service!) But I spent a lot of time visiting her on base and knew a lot of people who were in the military or were military brats. That's how I got used to the general (but not definitive) personality that I saw people in the military had in common. I have a close friend from HS who decided to do basically about what you are doing and joined the Air Force Reserve so that they would pay for her PT schooling.
