Hi, I'm aletros, and I'm lactose intolerent.
Same thing happened but back when I was about 14 or so. Sucked.

Also I heard intresting conversation on radio about left handed people having irritable bowel syndrome and being lactose intolerent more than righties. Dunno source though, was mentioned on radio.

Actually, I don't know what exactly what l33t's intent is, but I'm doing it just as demonk said.

It's like I do with my sister. I know if I call her stupid she'll make a scene and make herself look stupid, so I don't even have to say it. So at a store or something I just wait for her to do something kinna stupid, say "god you're an idiot" and she starts screaming "I'M NOT AN IDIOT, JP!!" and she looks even stupider.

Is it mean? Yeah, probably. Do I care? No, probably not. Is it funny? Yeah, but not british humor funny, because most of that isn't funny.

CK, it's all about Lactaid or generic equiv. Pop some lactase with your milk and you'll be ok.

personally, I can handle milk, as long as it's 2\% milkfat or less. Cream, on the other hand, makes me rip farts that will drop flies at 20 paces. Then I piss out of my anus for a couple hours. Going thru that right now 'cause last night I was very drunk and ate an entire box of mac & cheese to myself, and forgot to take lactase... someone please kill me...

I'm sorry for your pain man, but damn that's funny!

Posted by cr0bar on Jul. 19 2001,01:18
I do love ice cream, and certain dairy products. . .but drinking straight milk never was my thing.

i somehow became lactose intolerant overnight! i used to drink a large glass of milk (around a pint or so) every day. one morning i woke up really sick with diarhea. i thought it was the fast food but after drinking more milk but not eating anything bad i realized what happened. i became lactose intolerant overnight! whenever i drink any amount of milk my stomach feels all bloated and stuff and i might have diarhea later. luckily this hasn't extended to other dairy products yet (cheese, egg, chocolate, etc). but wtf? how did this happen overnight?
Posted by caseman984 on Jul. 19 2001,05:36
Sadly CK, same thing happend to me about 4 years ago.. I couldn't eat anything dairy for like 2 years or I got insanely sick, then it just went away as quickly as it came. Rather strange stuff, if anyone on here would know what the hell this is all about, please be a dear and inform

Ive alway's been intolerant of Lactose, milk it self is the only thing that makes me sick but you wouldn't belive how much milk is in products we eat daily. I can eat cheese as long as it's not an overly large amout.

Here is something my sister wrote on the subject

Some people cannot eat any diary products because if the do they’ll get sick. Those people like me included suffer from Lactose Intolerance. Many people won’t get sick from one piece of cheese but have their limits. I for one cannot drink milk and keep it down if you know what I mean. I also can’t eat lots of cheese, butter or ice cream without getting sick in one form or another. Many people suffer from small cases of Lactose Intolerance, and many suffer from it badly everyday.
Intolerance to milk and some dairy products is caused by inability to digest lactose (milk sugar). What causes the inability to digest the lactose is an inadequate production of the enzymes lactase in the small intestine results in the body's inability to digest lactose. Lactase breaks down milk sugar into simpler forms that can then be absorbed into the bloodstream. When there is not enough lactase to digest the amount of lactose consumed, the results, although not usually dangerous, may be very painful. While not all persons deficient in lactase have symptoms, those who do are considered to be lactose intolerant. Lactose Intolerance is very common in adults and isn’t dangerous. Lactose Intolerance can also be present at birth when a child is first introduced to milk, or it can develop later in childhood.
There are many symptoms that go along with having Lactose Intolerance. They include:
· Abdominal cramps
· Bloating
· Flatulence
· Weight loss
· Malnutrition
· Abdominal distention
· Abdominal fullness or gas
· Diarrhea
· Stools-floating
· Stools-foul smelling
Those are just a couple of the symptoms people can get. There is no way to cure Lactose Intolerance but symptoms often stop when milk product aren’t being eaten.
Infants who develop Lactose Intolerance from birth can have a serious condition because milk is the basis of a child’s diet. A formula made from soy products can serve as a substitute.
Lactose Intolerance is tested by many different ways like: measuring the absorption of lactose in the digestive system are the lactose tolerance test, the hydrogen breath test, and the stool acidity test. These tests are performed on a doctor's office.
The lactose tolerance test begins with the individual not eating before the test and then drinking a liquid that contains lactose. Several blood samples are taken over a 2-hour period to measure the person's blood sugar level, which indicates how well the body is able to digest lactose.
The lactose tolerance and hydrogen breath tests are not given to infants and very young children who are suspected of having lactose intolerance. A large lactose load may be dangerous for very young individuals because they are more prone to dehydration that can result from diarrhea caused by the lactose.
(The people in who often get Lactose Intolerance are on the chart on the next page)
Lactose Intolerance may be just a disease to you, but I know it’s also a lifestyle many have to live with everyday. And may eventually bring on other diseases if the don’t get proper calcium supplements.

That sounds quite interesting. However, due to the incredible fucking smell when cooking weed, I've never attempted it since I'm living at home right now.
