so incubus what features does this have compared to other half life mod's
i tried the game and i must say that i was really disappointed. here's why:
1) only 2 maps! and they are just the same thing at night or day time
2) the map is huge, you cant find your way around or avoid falling a lot
3) also since the map is so big, there is very little action going on
4) spectator mode was fucked up, it wouldnt spawn me after i picked a team
5) the mission objectives were obscure and i couldnt tell where we were supposed to go (neither could my whole team, everyone was going a different direction)
6) the game did not flow smoothly at all
7) the game seemed buggy, one time i ran it and my screen started flickering (thats never happened to me with half life or any mod before)
8)some other things that don't come to mind at the moment
but i realize of course that the game was just released so i guess i can't expect too much from it yet... i hope they make some improvements soon though, because they could turn this into a real kickass game.
but for now, i am sorry to say that my verdict is 2 thumbs down.

Beta 1.2 to be exact. Since when are games perfect as soon as they are released? NEVAR!
But people play it, find the bugs, report them, they get fixed. Lather, rinse, repeat. Life goes on. The game gets better.

AFAIK, CS Beta1 had 1 map, now check it's quality next to Hardline:

In short, if you want to whine about it, play it and then tell the author. It's a beta, that's what it means, see!
