I have a problem.
My PC doesn't want to download more than one file at a time. It used to work fine, but now it's totally messed up. I get this problem Using either IE or AOL(ugh)

Problem:
I can't start more than one download at a time, and while I'm downloading, My browser refuses to load any pages. If try to download two files at once, the first one I started goes, and then the second one will only start after the first has finished.

I run over the crappiest proxy ever, but I've tried others and still had these problems. I seem to be the only one on our (home) network having this problem, which leads mt to believe it's something wrong with my PC.

Anyway, any help/suggestions you guys can give would be great.

Oh, and just to let you guys know what's up with the Phantom Menace Bastardization -
I posted a thread a few days ago, and it got 1 single reply. It disappeared the next day. I took this as
A) Nobody liked it enough to respond, and
B) Cr0 thought it sucked so much it didn't deserve a thread.
So I figured I'd discontinue it. I was wrong. Expect more tonight.

What version of IE are you using? If you are using IE 5.01 on Win98, you can run the repair option from the System info applet in system tools. This solved a couple of problems I was having. Did you install any new software recently that might have precipitated this problem? It sounds like something in your configuration, most likely a registry entry is missing or messed up. For good multiple downloads, have you tried Download Accelerator? You can get it at tweakfiles.com and it works quite well. Hope this helps.

Just your generic meaningless signature. Mix with 2 quarts water and stir till evenly coated.
