What would your hell be like? I know mine would be just like this world except everything would be like shows on the WB and FOX. Everyone would be incredibly superficial and dull, and no one would have any common sense.

I would be drowning all the time. The surface of the water would be right there, and I wouldn't be able to swim up for some reason and I would just drown forever.

my personal hell; there would be dozens of topless "Scores" girls waiting on me hand and foot 24 hours a day, and all i would have to do is get laid and watch T.V. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! GOD NO!!!!!

My own personal hell: a place where

- stupid pop music is played 24/7
- people are superficial, vain, dumb and arrogant
- no decent books can be found, read or talked about
- mass culture is the only thing accepted
- everything and every thought is dictated

TaxMan's one is like one of some ancient Greek story. The guy couldn't drink the water. It was always just a few inches out of reach.

Mine would be having to fix all the bugs in every single version of Windows... GAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Scared ya, didn't I?

i knew i heard that somewhere. i forgot the guy's name, but taht was his punishment. his neck was stretched out so that he was in a river or an ocean, and every time he bent his head down to drink, the waters would lower.

my personal hell? having to listen to all this fucking pop music nonstop. *shudder*

I read that already. It's really 1337.

The point is not so much not finding books to read. It's more the not being able to talk about them... or rather, the not being able to have a conversation that makes sense and is not superficial.

my personal hell would be:

living on a old shitty bed, chained down, forced to watch re-runs of "making the band" with those stupid info-mercials in between, oh, and having my balls ripped off with a cheese grater, and then waking up and having them there again, only to have them ripped off.

What he said is:

"L'enfer, c'est les autres."
which would translate as "Hell, that's the others." (nothing said about friends!)

If I'm not mistaken, it's a quote from his play "Huis Clos".
I tend to agree with him...
