It's a shame the company went under, but I for one think that record labels are spawns of evil. The entire theory behind them is insane. We're going to pool our money together and publish artists under our 'label.' By doing this, we can make money off of their artistic vision. We can eventually make it so if you don't have a record label, your CD's will never sell because we have deals with all the distribution companies! Whatever. The world would be a better place w/o record labels. If you don't have the ability to create music, I don't see why you should get rich off of it just becasue of some over blown buisness scam that makes me pay more for CD's and concert tickets. It's turned into a vicious cycle, so that w/o a record label you don't make money, but w/o any record labels in existance, I imagine musicisians would make just as much money. Not only all of this, but record labels basically deside what we (the consumers) get to hear music wise. There are thousands of great musicians out there that never get heard because the labels don't want them for one reason or another. THey have strayed away from the original purpose (allow musicians from one part of the country market their music everywhere) and have become nothing more then money grubbing bottom feeders, scouring the industry for every last dime (see the online music trading antics). CD sales are up you idiots. Up. ------------------

problem is white labels cost twice as much as records who are with an official label. screw the music people i want cheap music
